ABSTRACT
Once in a prison system, to look for an easy way out is to look for treatment, but all it is is an easy way out of jail – they then staple cut their months and then they fuck it off [half their prison sentence and then don’t turn up for treatment] – they are out of jail, it hasn’t solved the problems; it has moved the problem on to somewhere else but the problem comes back on to society which is the main thing. It turns up in crime, prostitution, mental illness and they [the government] haven’t solved the problem. It seems like the government like to have x amount of people who are incapable of working. It puts people in jail and it creates work for the Home Office or Prison Service – people get paid a wage from someone else’s misery.
