ABSTRACT
We can gather strategies from many sources, by accident and design, from colleagues and from books. The selection of the right strategy for the right pupil in the right situation is your professional judgement. The decision is made based on knowledge of the particular pupil and context. From our experience, we are able to predict likely responses and motivations for particular behaviours.
