Sustainability and Design and Technology in schools

This chapter considers some of the major issues in relation to sustainability, and the role that Design and Technology can play in helping to make pupils aware of these issues and how they can make a difference. Suggestions are given for how existing schemes of work may be adapted to give pupils a greater degree of involvement and understanding of the issues.
