ABSTRACT
Once the children are in school, careful thought has to be given to the activities that the children do. At the age of four development is proceeding rapidly in all aspects-physical. intellectual, social and emotional-and an appropriate curriculum must recognize and encourage this development. The activities are very much bound up with the curriculum. They are in a sense the vehicle through which much of the curriculum is transmitted.
