ABSTRACT
Insight into how interdependent behaviour is generated and how it affects economic life is crucial. Interdependent behaviour interacts with the previously elaborated themes of indivisibilities, externalities, collectivities and uncertainties, and conditions the economic outcomes underlying all four themes. This is also the reason why we chose to postpone treatment of the role and implications of interdependent behaviour until the last chapter of this book.
