ABSTRACT
My report on the first part of this study is now complete, based on the survey of adult students’ experiences with mathematics, their performance, and their feelings, especially anxiety, about mathematics. The analyses, discussed fully in the last three chapters, have provided insights about the relationships considered to hold among the variables in the conceptual map.
