Writing the report

There are many publications advising on how to produce good reports and this guidance will not be repeated here. Of particular importance is the ‘Red Book’ (RICS 1995, p.57) which gives targeted advice on completing professional survey reports. To complement the standard guidance this section identifies other key features that the surveyor should consider when producing a report.
