ABSTRACT
I note that there are no traditional English poems in Chapters 1-3 of this book. These subjects were beneath poetry, by and large, until the twentieth century. The inclusion of my own poems among poems by genii like Blake is meant nothing to imply anything about my poems’ status; merely that I could reproduce them free, and they were useful for teaching some aspect of poetry.
