ABSTRACT
John Weever (1576-1632), educated at Queens' College, Cambridge, combined strong antiquarian interests with a leaning to poetry. Of his many references to Spenser I include here only the most specific. It is worth noting that Weever often has recourse to Ruines oj Time in his late work Ancient Funerall Monuments (1631).
