Subjectivism (SB) says that moral judgments describe how we feeL To call something "good" is to say that we have a positive feeling toward it. The ideal observer view is a further refinement; it says
that moral judgments describe how we'd feel if we were fully rational. In this chapter, we'll listen to two fictional roommates, both named
"Ima," and both different from Ima Relativist of the previous chapter. Ima Subjectivist will defend subjectivism, and Ima Idealist will defend the ideal observer view. We'll also consider objections to the two views.
