ABSTRACT
Francis Godolphin Waldron (1744-1818), a minor actor and writer, published Donne's Elegie xx, 'Loves Warre', in A Collection of Miscellaneous Poetry, 1802, pp. 1-2. An accompanying elegy (pp. 3-5), 'Is death so great a gamester', also given as Donne's, has not been accepted for his by any subsequent editor.
