ABSTRACT
The stages of development and the business goals of an international commercial arbitration centre are unique in each circumstance and are a product of the social, economic, legal and political conditions of a particular geographic location as well as the imagination and creative insight of particular individuals spearheading the endeavour. Accordingly the experience or case study described here may differ markedly from the experience of other centres.
