Iatrogenic A sickness of mind or body caused by the words or actions of a doctor. Overtreatment, complications of treatment and the unwise use of drugs are all responsible for iatrogenic illness.
ICAN (Physical Activity Programme) This is a combination of an assessment of physical motor skills and a curriculum for developing these skills. The steps necessary to accomplish a task are listed and each step has clear criteria to measure successful completion.
