ABSTRACT
Because of the nature of the subject, children of differing abilities find it easier to work on similar tasks than is possible in many other disciplines. Traditionally, in art teaching, differentiation has been established through allowing for individual levels of response to a common task and through the teacher responding to the different levels at which children will work and dealing with their needs individually.
