ABSTRACT
Immersed in the world of ancient and classical languages, Adelaide Hahn was most interested in the linguistic issues pertaining specifically to scholarship within that world. Here the questions were sometimes narrow, the data minute, and the consequences often local and specific. Larger concerns, however, also appear consistently throughout her work.
