ABSTRACT
The major skills of lecturing are explaining, presenting information, generating interest and lecture preparation. These skills are closely associated with the goals of coverage, understanding, and motivation and they are dependent upon component skills such as using audiovisual aids, varying student activities, comparing and contrasting, and getting the openings and endings right (see Figure 3.1).
