ABSTRACT
When defining the orientation of a passive zone in a corner always choose the best performer-for example, south in preference to east and west, unless this is precluded by a blank wall. The zone behind an inside corner is poorly provided with light and natural ventilation and it is best to designate this as non-passive, as in Figure 12.2.
