ABSTRACT
From the exploration and evaluation described in previous chapters it is possible to hypothesise about the impact of new working patterns on the future of buildings. This chapter considers base building design, the specification of building management systems, and the implications for the building stock. Where relevant each area is discussed with reference to the requirements of the different procurement chain members.
