ABSTRACT
Short-term planning at Eglingham School includes lesson plans for each subject and actual methods of tackling activities and intended learning outcomes. Suchmethods include ‘thought showers’ and ‘putting words in jail’ – methods discussed in Chapter 4, page 97. Indeed, the development of ‘thinking skills’ is perceived as being of fundamental importance in early years geography teaching at Eglingham.
