ABSTRACT
How can we bring about peaceful reconciliation in the contemporary world? Or how can we perpetuate the ecclesia and socialism in the twenty-first century? To perpetuate is to re-enact, and this involves once more the directly personal and existential dimension as well as that of collective organization. If we are to perform peace, then how are we to be forgiven and how are we to mediate forgiveness? Can we still be reconciled?
