ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we examine a number of integrated network security technologies. In the context of the network security framework formulated in Chapter 1, an integrated technology is defined in terms of one or more basic and enhanced security technologies and possibly some others that are relevant. They are relatively complex technologies that either have been designed or have evolved to support multiple network security functional elements.
