ABSTRACT
We must take [the lesson] to our hearts and minds that international society from now on will not spare either sympathy or support to any nation which does not have a strong spirit of chaju (independence) and charip (economic self-reliance) … And we must also renew our determination and will to maintain the spirit of self-reliant national defense by uniting the government and the people.
