ABSTRACT
Culture does not always follow the boundaries drawn by ethnicity, language, religion or political forms, there are exceptions. The Italian people have their own intrinsic cultural differences, represented in a spectrum of regional variations of values and lifestyles. These differences are real despite the fact that Italy is linguistically, ethnically and religiously homogeneous as well as politically unified.
