ABSTRACT

Just a little over ten years ago, digital photography was a pretty new and relatively expensive format. These days it’s possible to get a great-performing DSLR for well under $1,000. The image quality of these new cameras improves by leaps and bounds year after year. Image resolution and signal-to-noise ratios are reaching new heights very quickly. The result is that photographers now have access to extremely high-quality cameras, lenses, and accessories at a cost that would have been unthinkably low just a decade ago.
