ABSTRACT
In Chapter 1, the lack of agreement in ideas concerning the nature of Islamic law was discussed. In this chapter, I will deal with the uncertainty or instability of the mechanism through which the Islamization of the law was to be achieved. Most of this process, as has been mentioned, was carried out from 1977 until 1988 under military rule.
