ABSTRACT
In Chapter 8, we discussed North Korea’s defiance in relation to the NPT. Supposed withdrawal from this proliferation agreement, continuous nuclear testing and satellite launching, withdrawing from the Six-Party Talks, etc. have played a large role in the DPRK’s political charades over decades. With these startling events of brinkmanship, we begin the analysis of actually applying IHL to North Korea’s actions.
