Digital Publishing Suite: The Big Picture There are no two ways about it; being able to use the same tried and true print application that you have come to know and love to build an actual App Store - worthy app is pretty mind blowing. This section of the book will teach you how to do just that. You’ll learn how to create slideshows and panoramas, and how to integrate audio and video and even web content in your app. Along the way, you’ll also learn some very powerful tips and tricks to maximize the possibilities that DPS and InDesign’s tools present. That said, it’s important to realize that building your app and getting it into an App Store are two different things. The primary focus of this section is on the process of creating the content for your app but we’ll also point you to some excellent resources to help you navigate the technical details of getting your app to market. Fact is, when it comes to creating and publishing a DPS app, InDesign is but one piece of a bigger puzzle, so let’s take a look at the pieces and how they fit together.
