ABSTRACT

While you have done a huge amount of work already, 3D production is the largest part of your overall production. Comprised loosely of animation, eff ects, lighting, and rendering tasks, your shots will fi nally be taken through to completion (at least in Maya). The main thing to remember here is to not get off track; we have gone through a thorough pre-production on the fi lm and should not have any surprises. All the planning and setup you have done was to make the 3D production phase as easy as possible. If not easy, then at least predictable. We want there to be no “uh oh” moments as you start creating your shots and take them through to render.
