ABSTRACT
When dealing with students with LLD, it is important to remember that each student is an individual with individual problems and that each student's language and learning profile is therefore different. It is not possible to make sweeping generalisations about the members of a group characterised by such diversity. Although many of the following features might appear to be a normal part of growing up, the magnitude and persistence of these characteristics in LLD students seriously interferes with learning.
