ABSTRACT
In this chapter early childhood curriculum will be explored by considering:
• the nature of curriculum; • examples of curriculum work; • how curriculum is embedded in a set of beliefs; • developing knowledge and beliefs about children, learning and teaching; • influential factors; • ways to achieve curriculum goals; • a framework for decision making.
