ABSTRACT

The way we relate to each other is affected by the way we relate to ourselves and particularly how we perceive ourselves.

‘I couldn't possibly do the academic work to get a degree.’ ‘I'm hopeless at maths.’ ‘When I have done my GCSE, I shall concentrate on science subjects, with a view to doing microbiology at university and then go on to do research.’ ‘I can't draw.’ ‘Achieving something is just a matter of wanting to do it.’
