ABSTRACT

At the centre of the Christian religion is belief in God, but before

considering this in detail it is well to remind ourselves that

the human mind is incapable of obtaining a full knowledge of

God. Much of what Christians know about God comes from

specific divine revelations through prophets and other inspired

persons. Apart from such revelations the human mind is capable

of gaining some knowledge of God through its own efforts in

what is known as rational or natural theology.
