A simple guide aimed at working-level staff in all sectors of the industry, from end users to manufacturers. It explains the historical background to the ‘Rethinking Construction’ movement and briefly describes the key aspects of the three best practice standards (Better Public Buildings, Charter Handbook and Modernising Construction). It sets out the next step actions that each sector must take in order to achieve the best practice of the three standards and warns of the consequences of doing nothing.
