ABSTRACT

There has recently come to light a list of manuscripts and typescripts, with instructions for their disposal, which suggests a number of hypotheses concerning the composition of Wittgenstein’s only printed work. The list, and a subsequent letter, were made available to me by Frau Charlotte Eder of Vienna and have now found a home in the Brenner-Archiv of Innsbruck University thanks to the generosity of Herrn Dipl. Ing. Otto Vest-Rusan of Vienna and of the Wittgenstein family, and can now be consulted either in the Brenner-Archive or in the manuscript section of the Austrian National Library.1
