ABSTRACT
The art and design problems outlined in this section are used to illustrate two developmental curriculum projects undertaken in primary schools. Their objectives, the environmental backgrounds and the teacher-pupil interests varied, although these factors have not been emphasized or allowed to predominate. It is hoped that teachers will use the studies for comparative purposes or to help in stimulating other ideas. In this sense, they are simply presented as catalysts in the hope that children in schools will benefit.
