ABSTRACT
Fundamental to maintaining peace and order in any society is the control of anti-social behaviour. Generally, this can be done on two levels:
1 at a societal level through sanctions imposed by legitimate authority; or
2 at an individual level through the learning of appropriate behaviours or through controlling how we think about things.
