ABSTRACT

In this chapter we draw on a range of psychological theory to see how group dynamics relates to action learning. It has been one of our intentions to take away any mystery there may be about action learning and about how sets work. This chapter may be of interest to aspiring facilitators who are curious about the way their group behaves, as well as possibly being worth while for set members with some experience of action learning sets who would like to explore what is happening in terms of group dynamics.
