ABSTRACT
At this point in a book of this kind the trees may have multiplied to an extent where the wood has become very obscured. This chapter therefore is an attempt to summarize some of the conclusions about retention that are scattered throughout the book. It does that by looking at an example of how an institution might approach the problem of increasing retention once it has decided that it is important to do so.
