ABSTRACT
One of the most important responsibilities of the headteacher of any school, but particularly of an urban school, is to ensure that the right staff are appointed and that they are then trained regularly to do their job effectively If the right staff are in place and are on top of their jobs, the headteacher can spend more time looking to the future, thus ensuring that present good practice does not become the only show in town.
