ABSTRACT
The head and the SMT will foster leadership for citizenship education across five dimensions of the school’s life and learning. This will include:
1. Values and vision The head and SMT will relate citizenship education to the vision and values of the school. This might helpfully include a consideration of the three democratic values of our time: – freedom as autonomy; – no authority without democracy; and – no rights without responsibilities.
