ABSTRACT
Before planning the learning experiences that promote active citizenship, we need to be aware of the wide range of potential activities and experiences that are already available in school.
We can categorize ALC under approach, type and content. We can, at the same time, note the aspects of school life to which these approaches can contribute: 1) learning; 2) behaviour/relationships; and 3) civic engagement.
