ABSTRACT
Imagine the impact on self-confidence and self-esteem if at 14 years of age you are asked to:
• organize and deliver a training session for 80 teachers; • deliver a seminar at the North of England Education Conference; • prepare a peer support plan detailing a year’s targets, which are incorporated
into the school development plan; • travel overseas to train peer supporters; • host an international conference on raising achievement.
