ABSTRACT

In Chapters 1 and 2, a great deal was said about school ethos, the aims statement and the key planning that drives the school forward. This included the development plan, the curriculum plan and the plan for high-quality teaching and learning. The organisation of the school is largely about how these fit together and are effective through the people who work in the school. In Chapter 3 the key issues centred around how to recruit the right staff and how subject coordinators can be used to move the school forward.
