ABSTRACT

There can be no doubt that the shift to digital delivery of courses represents one of the most profound changes we have seen in education and training in recent times. It is also apparent that the possibilities offered by online delivery have captured the interest of teachers and trainers. As the technologies employed in online delivery of courses become simpler to use and more powerful, it is likely that the interest amongst teachers and trainers in using these technologies will grow. However, it is one thing to say that online delivery can be expected to become more popular and quite another to say that traditional modes of delivery will become obsolete.
