ABSTRACT
Operationalizing the whole IBL curriculum necessarily involves managing a vast array of information using many different media. This chapter focuses on that subset of the technological infrastructure that enables speech and/or images to be stored permanently or temporarily for later retrieval – the audio-visual aids (AVA). Print and computer resources are examined elsewhere. The AVAs available to the IBL students in the pre-registration nursing programme include:
