ABSTRACT
Supranational institutions Chapter 2 identified a number of key interests in tourism. Supranational institutions involve a degree of political integration between states but are not subject to the laws of national governments. Such organisations operate in a global sphere of activity and are able to influence, and in some cases determine, economic and political activities in the national sphere.
