ABSTRACT
Bandura and Mischel see behaviour, cognition and the environment as inter connected and as influencing each other. This three-factor interaction is called reciprocal determinism. This means that people's behaviours influence their environ ment. Their environment influences their behaviours. Their cognitions influence and are influenced by their behaviours and their environment. Therefore behaviour is seen as being the result of a plurality of causes and interactions.
