ABSTRACT

Day Release is when an organization allows an employee to study for one or two days a week at a college or adult education centre. The employee can then gain qualifications they missed at school, or qualifications of a specialist nature. It is an effective form of development and learning for people who want to combine work and study. It works well for people who did not, or could not, make the most of their school days. (Unrelated, it also refers to people in prison who are no longer considered to be a risk to society, and are allowed out during the day.)

DCM Dynamic Causal Models look at cause and effect. For example, neurological disabilities (e.g. brain damage) may result in cognitive disabilities (e.g. memory impairment) which may therefore result in behavioural disabilities (e.g. forgetfulness).
