ABSTRACT
Handwriting is a craft, with a finite number of subskills to learn, unlike reading and spelling. Once a specific model has been mastered, refinements may be developed, but no further learning is necessary. But there are many opportunities for wrong learning on the way. Wrong learning is very hard to unlearn once the process of writing becomes automatic. The best way to ensure good handwriting is to learn it correctly from the beginning.
