ABSTRACT
In view of the difficulties of integration encountered on conventional faces, great interest attaches to longwall systems which have developed a form of work organization deriving from, rather than running counter to, the single place tradition. In these systems, which are known as composite, a common task and a common paynote reunify the cycle group.
